Donate Towards Education with Islamic Charities in UK
Jamea Al Kauthar is a registered Islamic charity in the UK. Offering both an Islamic and a secular education to girls from the ages of 11 and above, the charity ensures that donations received are used to provide a holistic boarding experience to all pupils. As one of several Muslim charities in the UK, Jamea allows students from all backgrounds to come and study in the institute by subsiding the relatively low fee with donations.
The act of giving in charity is a very worthy concept in Islam, and also forms one of the obligatory tenets of the Muslim faith. Regarding the act of giving in charity, our beloved Messenger of Allah (sallalaahualayhiwasallam) has stated, “Give (in charity) and do not give reluctantly lest Allah should give you in a limited amount; and do not withhold your money lest Allah should withhold it from you” (Bukhari and Muslim).
As a Muslim educational charity, Jamea offers not only the virtues of that are guaranteed through giving charity generally, but also the continual reward of all those who benefit from the teaching and learning of knowledge. This includes those involved in it actively within Jamea, and those who have graduated and distributed the knowledge elsewhere. Even after the donor passes away, the knowledge remains alive and is continuously passed on, ensuring that the act of charity always live on.
Sometimes, it’s difficult to find the right charities to donate towards. We are always willing to discuss donations with those who are interested, and offering guidance to ensure that, as a Muslim charity, we employ full Islamic ethos and values in making your donation makes a difference where it matters the most.
