Students will also learn the basic grammatical rules of Arabic and study a few fundamental principles of jurisprudence alongside the course. Year Two Basic principles of the Arabic Language and Grammar	Arabic literature (Adab) Syntax/grammar (Nahw) Morphology (Sarf) Jurisprudence (Fiqh) Biography (Seerah) Intonation (Tajweed) Memorisation (Hifz)	Students will learn the vocabulary, grammar and comprehension of the Arabic language, through the medium of the Holy Quran and stories of the Prophets. Students will also learn how to recite (phonetics) and write Arabic correctly. They will study jurisprudence in a little more detail, and will also be taught the science of intonation. Year Three Intermediate principles of the Arabic Language and Grammar	Prophetic Narrations (Ahadith) Arabic literature (Adab) Syntax/grammar (Nahw) Morphology (Sarf) Jurisprudence (Fiqh) Biography (Seerah) Intonation (Tajweed) Memorisation (Hifz)	Students will consolidate their learning of Arabic vocabulary, grammar and comprehension. Once again, the medium of the Holy Quran and stories of the Prophets will be used. Greater detail and intricacy of classical Arabic is introduced, and more so students will now be studying authentic sayings and prophecies of the Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him, creating a yearning and passion for an in depth study of prophetic narrations soon to come. Year 4 Higher principles of the Arabic language and Grammar	Uloomul Quran (Quranic studies) Principles Of Jurisprudence (Usool ul-Fiqh) Prophetic Narrations (Ahadith) Syntax/grammar (Nahw) Jurisprudence (Fiqh) Biography (Seerah) Intonation (Tajweed) Memorisation (Hifz)	Students will consolidate their learning of Arabic vocabulary, grammar and comprehension. They begin to study the Prophetic narrations in greater detail, and study the complete biography of the Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him. Students also begin to explore the Holy Quran, translate its verses and study the reasons of revelation. Year 5 Meaning, interpretation and application of Quran and Hadith.	Principles Of Ahadith (Usool ul-Ahadith) Tafsir al-Quran (Exegesis) Islamic Jurisprudence (fiqh) Prophetic Narrations (Ahadith)	Greater emphasis is given to the Holy Quran and the Prophetic traditions. Pupils become familiar with discourses on different Islamic beliefs and factions. Students will use their founding in Arabic to read and interpret Quran and Hadith. Year 6 Meaning, Interpretation and application of Hadith	Bukhari Shareef Muslim Shareef Tirmidhi Shareef Abu Dawood Shareef Nasai Shareef Ibn Majah Shareef Siraji Fil Mirath	Students will be exposed to all the major compilers of Hadith and their works; they will explore the six famous books on Hadith known as ‘Sahai Sittah’. Students analyse and explore modern phenomena and issues in light of prophetic traditions.
