Assalamu Alaikum

We hope that this letter reaches you in the best of health and faith.

We would like to inform you regarding Jamea Al Kauthar’s annual boarding fees for the next year 2009/10. Our annual boarding fee is £2500. This amount may be paid over the year in three separate instalments.

Please note this sum of £2500 is by no means sufficient to cover all the costs that incur while your daughter boards at Jamea Al Kauthar. In fact, upon observing the facilities and services Jamea offers, a member of our inspecting body commented that the Jamea should be charging up to £23,000 per year, per student.

On the day of enrolment you will be required to pay an additional £150 admission fee, which is non-refundable.

Therefore the full payment for your daughter’s first year, from 4th October 2009 to Ramadhan 2010 will be £2650.

This amount may be paid in full or over three instalments on the following dates:

We would appreciate parents taking these dates into consideration, as no reminder slips will be issued.

Please could you kindly review/read carefully the points below:

1. We will allow an allowance period of FIVE DAYS after the above specified dates, after which your daughter will be suspended from classes until payment is received.
2. Late payment of fees will be charged at an additional £20 to cover administration costs; this amount is subject to an increase.
3. Bounced cheques i.e. Cheques not accepted by the bank due to insufficient funds etc. will be charged at £50 each.
4. For new students only: upon enrolment there will be a cooling period of twenty days, after which NO REFUND will be given.
5. For students present in Jamea: there will be NO REFUND given if they leave in between the instalments.
6. No refund will be given to students who are expelled from Jamea.

Hazrat Sahib has stipulated that abuse to staff will on no terms be tolerated, disputes and complaints may be forwarded to Hazrat Moulana Fazlehaq in writing.
Please note that at Jamea Al Kauthar the academic year runs from one Ramadhan to the next Ramadhan.
