Al-Kauthar Masjid operates under the guidance of its founder Shaykh Fazle Haq Wadee and it aims to cater for the diverse local community of Lancaster and provide them with a number of services which enhance their religious and spiritual upbringing and enables them to gain a better understanding regarding the ecology between man and his Creator and develop their individual relationship with their Creator. 

The following is a brief synopsis of some of the services Al-Kauthar Masjid currently provides:

Prayers
Naturally the Masjid offers public worship facilities for the obligatory prayers which are performed five times a day, and the Jummuah, Eid and Taraweeh prayers.

Spiritual development
Since its establishment, the Masjid has been proactive in the development of spirituality and moral standards in the community.

This is achieved through a wide range of activities including educational lectures, study circles, seminars and other types of functions and events

Community Links

Al-Kauthar Masjid has an excellent rapport and relationship with local community leaders and we aim to make the community more cohesive and support the local residents to integrate into the British Society

Nikah Service

We also hope to be able to provide bathing, shrouding and burial services at some point in the near future for  the local community, and work in partnership with the local authority, the health authority and the coroner’s office to ensure services meets the needs of the Muslim community.
